We perform a host of short-sale services and consultation. In a recent transaction we submitted a contract/demand into title, escrow for services rendered. Prior to closing the buyers fired us, citing the transaction was being cancelled.

Upon further investigation, we discovered the escrow had NOT been cancelled. We are attempting to enforce our demand again, but the escrow officer is telling us even with a signed demand by sellers, she is not required by law to pay us, How do we get her to either set aside the $162K we are now owed, until we can prove same, or enforce the payment for services rendered and agreed too by the buyers. Thanks EAB
